Financing Net-Zero in Latin America: Policy Instruments and Mechanisms – Climate Week NYC 2022

Climate Week NYC, to be held from September 19^th to 25^th, marks its fourteenth year as the biggest global climate event of its kind. It brings together the most influential leaders in climate action from business, government, and the climate community, in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly.

On September 20th, Micaela Carlino , Fundación Torcuato di Tella, will share a panel discussion on the role of policy instruments in financing deep decarbonization pathways in Latin America. Relevant cases and insights from key sectors in Argentina, Brazil and Peru will be presented based on research and stakeholder dialogue from the Decarboost project.
