Climate and Sustainable Finance Week in LAC, 2021

The Climate and Sustainable Finance Week was held from October 4 to 8, with the objective of identifying good practices, advances and opportunities for mobilizing finance to effectively address climate change, the transition to sustainable development, and a transformative, inclusive, fair, sustainable and necessary post-COVID-19 reactivation in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The event brought together more than 70 panelists over 18 sessions, including representatives from civil society, national and subnational governments, the private sector, the financial sector, youth and people interested in addressing climate change and sustainable recovery.

On the second day, during session 4 “Transformative Projects in Latin America and the Caribbean”, the Decarboost Project was presented, sharing a summary of the project and the progress made so far by the three country members.
